This user-friendly portal replaces the CASTUS Forum which has now been sunset.

The old Forum link automatically redirects to the Knowledge Base.

New! Live Translations

Reach all of your audiences with the all new LIVE TRANSLATIONS! Live translation is an incredible and powerful tool that takes your live captions and quickly translates them to the language(s) you choose. With over 70 languages to choose from, the possibilities are endless!

On cable, you can have up to 4 languages for 608 captions and up to 6 languages for 708 captions. Cable also only supports European languages for translations, and these are limitations by the cable broadcasters and not by CASTUS. In fact, on the CASTUS VOD platform, you can have as many translated languages as you’d like, including special character languages such as Korean.

With an upcoming software release, live translation languages will be selectable in the input settings, and will be engaged automatically when you live caption your content.

This feature takes a big step towards making sure you can reach all of your viewers and share information effectively.

Grayson is the newest member of the CASTUS customer support team. He has spent the last 15+ years with Tightrope Media Systems / Cablecast Community Media and most recently was Director of Customer Success. He brings with him a strong background in broadcast, A/V, hardware, and software with a passion for solving problems and improving processes.

Grayson lives in western Wisconsin with his wife and two boys. He thoroughly enjoys the outdoors and can be found in his free time golfing, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, and participating in motorsports.

Elliot is bringing 25+ years of expertise to the CASTUS team as our new director of sales, having served in various key roles within the industry. In his most recent position as the Western Regional Sales Manager at Tightrope Media Systems / Cablecast Community Media, he has been instrumental in driving business development and sales of Video Automation Systems, Hardware, and Software for Scheduled Broadcast Playback, Video-On-Demand, Streaming Systems, OTT, Asset Management, Archival Storage, Digital Signage, and IPTV systems.

With a wealth of experience in broadcast and technology sales, Elliot is a seasoned professional known for his dynamic and results-oriented contributions. Over the course of his career, he has honed his skills as a broadcast and technology sales executive, amassing a proven track record of success.
